Triane Tambay

Triane Tambay is a Project-Based Master’s student who recently completed her Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Creative Media at SFU’s School of Interactive Arts & Technology (SIAT). As a media artist, her practice explores real-time systems for interactive installations and embodied interface design. Alongside her artistic work, Triane is deeply invested in connecting people to the arts. She has volunteered in the past with the New Media Gallery, and currently volunteers with VIVO Media Arts Center and helps run the local monthly TouchDesigner MeetUp series.  Through her graduate research, Triane investigates how interactive technologies can deepen people’s relationships with art experiences. She designs discovery tools and participatory systems that foster community engagement, exploring how computational media can open more meaningful pathways for people to encounter, interpret, and connect with the arts.
